Child’s Play (2026) sculpture - recycled polypropylene, remnants of cockle shells - 6 objects, each approx. 8 × 8 × 4 cm
Child’s Play reverses a familiar childhood activity at the beach. Instead of pressing plastic moulds into sand, real cockle shells are pressed into molten plastic. Their impressions intersect with the folds and layers formed as the plastic is extruded from a machine.
